Kate Winslet stars as the face of Lancôme's L'Absolu Nu lipsticks, in a new advert that shows Kate hanging out in her (totally white) flat, talking on the telephone, stroking her hair a lot and then picking out a lipstick. All whilst looking very sexy and sultry, and listening to some 'mood music' that may or may not sound like the whole of the 1990s.
Grazia has a special behind the scenes video of Mario Testino shooting Kate, which is accompanied by a voice-over from Kate explaining why this is a historic moment for lipstick...or something. She says 'I think there's something happening right now in the cosmetic industry which is that we're seeing the big comeback of a lipstick. A great lipstick.' A lipstick to alter the course of human history and restore world order (...actually we added that last bit ourselves).
Joking aside, Kate looks stunning in the vid and she sure does know how to pull off a lipstick pout without looking like the victim of a collagen surgery mishap (unlike us). Apparently the real benefit of Lancôme's L'Absolu Nu lipsticks is that they don't smudge - and with all that writhing around in white satin sheets, Kate sure has put that claim to the test.
