Shock tactics for Eurostar promotion cause controversy
The campaign, which has seen posters going up in Antwerp, Brussels, Liege and Ghent, was created by a Belgian ad agency and among other images features John Cleese and his Ministry of Silly Walks along with Tony Blair, Margaret Thatcher and John Major apparently bursting Union Flag balloons.
The message is that London is "just around the corner" - but one image in particular is causing something of a controversy - the skin head with a St. George's cross painted on his back and urinating into a pot. The Belgian ad agency has responded by saying it's all just for fun and to promote how cosmopolitan London is. So far they've only had one complaint from the public.
