Rita Ora signs deal with Rimmel London
Rita Ora is the girl of the moment and a busy one at that.
She's the new face for Madonna’s Material Girl fashion range, she was in the DKNY Resort ad campaign that was shot on the streets of Times Square in New York and now she has signed a deal with Rimmel London, all while working on her second album.
The collaboration will see the British singer-songwriter team up with Rimmel London to create a color cosmetics capsule collection that will be launched in February 2014.
Following on the footsteps of the Rihanna and her collaboration with MAC, and that of One Direction who also released their own line of makeup, called Little Things, with UK brand MUA, Ora will be the latest star to have a special edition collection in her own name.
The limited collection will see a trendy and stylish range of lip and nail shades.
"Rita is a real London girl and uses the streets of London as inspiration for her songs like Rimmel uses the London Look from the streets as inspiration for its products," said Rimmel's Friedemann Schmid.
"With this new collection we are combining both the London street vibe with Rita's amazing style and we look forward to sharing the amazing result."
Talking about this new partnership, Johanna Businelli, SVP Global Marketing Coty Beauty Colour Cosmetics commented : "We are extremely excited about this new collaboration with Rita Ora. She is young, fresh and on the brink of a huge international career and we are sure she will bring a lot of creativity and fun to the Rimmel brand".
The pop star, who appeared on the runway for DKNY 2014 Spring and Summer collection during New Fashion Week said, "I have always loved Rimmel growing up and it is so exciting for me to be able to work with such a cool brand," said Ora. "I am absolutely obsessed with make-up and being adventurous with colours, so when I was given the chance to make my own collection with Rimmel it was like a dream come true!"
