Dannii Minogue was joined by a sparkling assortment of guests for the official launch of her new fragrance Project D on Wednesday, reports Now.
The X Factor judge welcomed friends including Jenni Falconer and Donna Air to the launch, which was held at Selfridges in London. Created with her friend, Tabitha Somerset Webb, Dannii’s fragrance ‘features notes of neroli, begamot and tuberose’ and will retail for £34.
The perfume accompanies Dannii’s clothing line, also called Project D, which was launched earlier in the year. Dannii says: ‘Fashion and fragrance have historically been entwined. The beauty of Project D allows you to blend these, creating your own personal style.’
As if launching her own clothing and fragrance line wasn’t exciting enough for Dannii, Hello magazine also writes she has been named in a list of middle icons. She seems to have taken the title graciously, telling journalists at the fragrance launch: ‘that's amazing. I'm a middle class hero, I will embrace that title!’
