In our post Christmas 2013 top beauty gift ideas , one the many brands we mentioned was the highly awaited new Naked3 Palette by Urban Decay that was ready to be released earlier this month and just in time for the holiday season.
If you thought that after Naked (bronze-hued neutrals) and Naked2 (taupe-hued neutrals) palettes there weren’t any more shades available in the Urban Decay’s color spectrum, they came up with Naked3, another exciting variation on their iconic eyeshadows, that in just a few days has already become another beauty bestseller.
Like Naked and Naked2, Naked3 contains twelve new and fascinating rose-hued blush toned eyeshadows that are highly pigmented, ultra soft and blendable and range from ultra-smooth mattes, gorgeous pearls to glimmering metallics, which has been the biggest makeup trend for this fall and winter season.
Packaged in an attractive rose gold snap metal case with an in-built mirror that also includes an easy to use dual-ended eye brush and as a bonus, Urban Decay has added a week’s worth of samples of each of their marvelous primers (Original, Sin, Eden and new Anti-Aging).
Let’s check out the twelve astonishing different shades that the American cosmetics brand has to offer with Naked3.
The palette goes from light to dark starting with Strange that is described as a pale neutral pink matte-satin followed by Dust an irridescent pale metallic pink, which despite being a satin is more a shimmer.
Next up is Burnout a light pinky-peach and there’s Limit, a light dusty rose which is a matte shade that is perfect when you want to shade the crease and the corner of your eyes.
The hues gradually move towards metalllics like Buzz – which can be described as metallic rose shimmer with undertones of silver-mauve glitter.
Trick is warmer tone with that leans towards a light metallic pinky-copper with glittery micro sparkles, while Nooner is a medium pink brown matte color.
Liar is a medium mauve shimmer with pink overtones, followed by Factory a pinky-brown satin and Mugshot is a darker metallic taupe shimmer with a slight pink shift.
Darkside is a deep taupe-mauve satin and closing up the bevy of colors is Blackheart which the darkest shade of the dozen, and is smoky black/chocolate matte hue with a rosy red undertone with micro glitters.
