I swear I love you: is written all over my face!
Every girl goes through a phase of radical change, when trying to impress the love of her life. But Lesya, a beautiful Russian student, has taken it a step too far. After meeting her other half on the internet she decided to get a tattoo with his name across her entire face!
The girl, known only as Lesya, met tattoo artist Rouslan Toumaniantz in a chat room and fell in love in just a day. Eager to impress him and express her deep love and devotion to him, the girl decided to meet up with the artist to get his name in five-inch high Gothic letters on her face.
The brave gesture might have done the trick as Rouslan and Lesya are now planning to get married in Moscow. "It's a symbol of our eternal devotion. I'd like him to tattoo every inch of my body," she said.On the other side Rouslan confessed: “I don’t think I have done anything wrong today. "I’m in love. We are in love.” In the meanwhile the girl is also learning to tattoo under her husband-to-be close watch.
As you might guess the controversial idea had a mixed reception, some of Lesya's friends congratulated with her, praising the quality of the artwork and how amazing she looked with her new tattoo, many other condemned the choice, as it spoiled the girl's beautiful appearance.
It is not the first time that Rouslan Toumaniantz had hit the headline for all the wrong reasons, back in 2009 he got named and shamed by 18-year-old Kimberley Vlaeminck, who went to his studio for a little tattoo and came out with 56 stars tattooed on her face. The girl blamed the artist for inking her while asleep, causing him to lose his job and to leave his native Belgium. Turned out that Vlaeminck really wanted the ink-work, but had to lie because scared of her family's reaction.
Face tattoo is not for the faint-hearted, it's a major step, a life-time commitment and should be taken a bit more seriously than it has. Let's hope that Lesya made her choice conscientiously as such a big statement won't certainly go unnoticed.
