Gisele Bundchen is the new face of Chanel beauty range
Gisele Bundchen is back from mum's duty after giving birth to her second child, a little girl named Vivien Lake, back in December 2012. And what better opportunity for a come back, than being chosen for Chanel latest beauty campaign?
The stunning model has bagged a millionaire contract deal to be the face of new make-up line Les Beiges, Chanel's new luxury collection. The innovative range has been designed to refine skin's appearance, enhance complexion, illuminate and give a healthy and natural look, like the flawless Brazilian supermodel.
The campaign was directed and shot by Mario Testino, who famously convinced the fashion industry to appreciate and love Gisele, thanks to his fantastic works and pictures. The return of the super model is eagerly anticipated, as it was the campaign of Chanel No. 5, which for the first time featured a male testimonial, sexiest man alive Brad Pitt.
Before Gisele many other stars were appointed as 'ambassadors' to the world of Chanel Beauty, among them Marilyn Monroe, Nicole Kidman, Keira Knightley, Vanessa Paradis and Audrey Tatou: all beautiful women, chosen for their strong personalities, interesting features and flawless skin, rather than their young appearance.
Gisele has not been chosen for her age neither for her breathtaking body. Although her curves has launched her to the Olympus of Victoria's Secret angels, becoming one of the wealthiest supermodels in the world (according to Forbes she has been the highest paid model for three years in a row), this time her face got the better of it: her amazing blue eyes, radiant appearance, slightly marked features and intense expression won her a lucrative contract with the French house.
