Fearne Cotton launched her latest fashion line for Very.co.uk during London Fashion Week, showing off a glamorous new 30s-inspired hairdo and modelling some of the clothes from the collection for the assembled paparazzi. She was joined by her friend, This Morning host Holly Willoughby, who was on hand to offer some calming words as Fearne had earlier admitted to fans she was extremely nervous.
According to The Sun Fearne was busily tweeting throughout the day in the lead-up to the catwalk event, presumably looking for distractions away from the big show. In the morning she told her followers: 'Morning! Got Miles Kane in the live lounge today on my show. Then off for my very.co.uk fashion show!'. A few hours later it was: 'On the way to the venue for my fashion show. Eye bags need removing, hair needs brushing, and stomach needs spanx. Goodbye italian gut!'.
Once she had arrived at the venue the nerves really set in, with Fearne tweeting 'An hour to go until people start arriving for my fashion show! Ah! Nervous now!'. She looked gorgeous wearing a red lace dress from the collection before later changing into another dress from the collection - a lilac shift number that perfectly complimented her retro-influenced new hair do. Holly Willoughby went for simple, chic styling in a red patterned dress with black blazer and tights.
It seems the collection met with approval from the fashion pack and assembled celebs including Myleene Klass who tweeted Fearne: '@Fearnecotton stirling job tonight Mrs. You should be very proud x'. Catwalk Queen writes that this was the 'strongest and most directional yet' of Fearne's collections for Very.co.uk
