Cole's a 20-a-day girl
Details of Cheryl Cole's 'lost month' in LA have been unearthed, and it transpires that the star spent most of it locked in her hotel room, watching Charlie Sheen's breakdown, while smoking Marlboro Lights. Chezza's ex-bodyguard Craig Balkam has sold his story to the papers, detailing her odd diet requests, love for bad'un Ashley Cole, and severe cigarette addiction.
Craig told The Mirror, 'Whenever she was going out she would have a hairdresser and sometimes a make-up stylist come to the hotel to help her. She was very insecure about her weight even though her figure always looked so good. Her feet always hurt her, I think because of the amount of time she spent walking in heels. She became a fan of the Tracy Anderson gym in Studio City in LA. She would go down there at 5am when no one would be around to photograph her. Cheryl worked out so hard she ended up getting sore legs. She did workout videos in her hotel room too. She had a masseuse that was going to come over from the UK and she had an all white outfit, but it was suggested she change into something different because Cheryl did not want people to think she was a nurse.'
'She did these 'lemon cleanses' where she wouldn't consume anything except lemon juice and water with a dash of cayenne pepper and maple syrup. But she smoked a lot too - at least 20 Marlboro a day, which would have suppressed her appetite quite a bit. Cheryl has a real sweet tooth. She became a big fan of the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and she'd ask her people to get 10 caramel apples at a time - and a big bag of marshmallows. She was big on porridge as a healthy way of filling up. She liked salads and loved sushi but also liked junk food, hamburgers, subway, popcorn, candy, lots of chocolate.'
Things turned sour between Craig and Cheryl after he passed on an email to her assistant about Ashley misbehaving in LA. Craig said, 'But there's no hard feelings and I wish Cheryl all the best. I hope it works out for her with Ashley this time. Cheryl deserves to find happiness.' Aw, we're sure Cheryl's grateful for the kind words, and the fact that you've sold your story to the tabs...
