A cracking good installation at the Tate Modern

Colombian artist Doris Salcedo is causing somewhat of a stir over at the Tate Modern. His new installation, Shibboleth, which, according to Wikipedia means "any language usage indicative of one's social or regional origin, or more broadly, any practice that identifies members of a group", is a 548ft crack.

Is he having a craic? The massive gash in the Turbine Hall is driving visitors crazy with excitement, but the illusive artist is refusing to say how it got there.
